PSCRS Successfully Holds 2nd National Convention on Colorectal Surgery

The Philippine Society of Colorectal Surgeons (PSCRS) successfully held its second national convention on colorectal surgery last March 24-26 at the Diamond Hotel, Manila. Scientific sessions, cine-clinics, and the first full laparoscopic colorectal surgery workshop in the country were conducted throughout these 3 days, with foreign faculty from Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia sharing their expertise alongside local experts. In attendance were over 150 General and Colorectal Surgeons from all over the country.

25 March 2011, Manila, Philippines: In partnership with the Philippine Society of Colorectal Surgeons (PSCRS), The Medical City (TMC) held a free lay forum on colorectal cancer during the PSCRS’s second national convention at the Diamond Hotel, Manila. Entitled “Time to Live and Learn,” the forum was held at the hotel’s Diamond Ballroom, 2^nd floor, from 5-7 PM. Topics encompassed the whole spectrum of issues on colorectal cancer care, adhering to TMC’s thrust for both comprehensive health care and education.
